Shirley Jaffe. Avant et après Matisse

This is the second time that the Musée Matisse in Nice has paid tribute to the work of Shirley Jaffe. In 1994, the artist exhibited her most recent works. Today, the exhibition features works from her entire career.


Délos et ses pierres : la fabrique d’une ville antique

Built between 1902 and 1908, Villa Keyols was inspired by the ancient dwellings on the island of Delos.
Houses dating from the 2nd century B.C. were being excavated by the École française d’Athjènes. They were of great interest to its patron, Théodore Reinach, and its architect, Emmanuel Pontremoli.
The exhibition “Délos et ses pierres: la fabrique d’une ville antique” presents the link between the island of Délos and the Villa Kérylos!

The Phantom of the Opera d’Andrew Lloyd Webber

Although the cult musical was almost staged in 2016 at the Théâtre Mogador (Paris), it will be presented in December 2023 at the Opéra de Monte-Carlo, whose Salle Garnier was designed by the architect of the same name.
Le Fantôme de l’Opéra is undoubtedly one of the world’s most successful musicals. Holding the record for the longest-running show in New York (35 years), this musical is also the second longest-running show in London, just behind Les Misérables. It has played in 183 cities, been adapted into 17 languages and been seen by nearly 145 million spectators. Le Fantôme de l’Opéra has won nearly 70 awards worldwide, including 7 Tony and 4 Olivier Awards.

Nice Carnival

The Nice Carnival is 15 days of festivities in the city! From February 17 to March 3, 2024.
Parades of Corsi Carnavalesques (day and night) and flower battles, entertainment, shows… are organized.
This year’s theme is the “King of Pop Culture”, the Carnival of the great figures of Manga, video games and series!
The Nice Carnival is a not-to-be-missed event on the Côte d’Azur.
Burlesque and magical shows, extravagant floats, big heads and elegant flower battles await you!
