Restaurant Jan – ©Paris-Côte d’Azur, Patrick Flet
Opened in November 2013, ‘Jan’ restaurant offers a unique menu mixing traditional French cuisine and culinary delights from South Africa.
Native from South Africa, the Chef Jan Hendrix van der Westhuizen was firstly a contributing food editor of “Elle” Magazine South Africa and France. Then he worked as a Yacht Chef traveling all over the Mediterranean for 2 years.
His unusual experience, led him to open his own restaurant in Nice, combining his origins and his love for French gastronomy. His gourmet menu also reflects his passion for photography and design, offering splendid dishes presentations, but above all excellent and very audacious recipes.
The menu changes every two weeks, the opportunity to come back and discover new unique recipes. The restaurant to taste absolutely!
